Social Security
As a professionally-educated accountant, I am horrified at the way President Bush and the members of Congress have been playing with our tax dollars. Showing no fiscal discipline and no political backbone, they have continued to borrow funds to pay for ongoing expenditures. This is fiscal mismanagement that is unfairly burdening our children, and it must be stopped.
I am especially appalled by the way that your Social Security money has been used as a piggy bank. I will fight to make sure that your Social Security funds are treated like private pension plan deposits that "vest" after you and your employer have paid into them.
