Pursuit of Happiness
For me, the American Dream embodies both an aspiration and a promise. We have the freedom to go as far as our vision, energy and spirit take us, but we also have an obligation to give something back so that this opportunity is available to our children and the children of our neighbors.
My dad served as a military officer in World War II, and both of my parents worked hard and sacrificed for my happiness. After serving our country through military service, my wife and I are now working hard and sacrificing for our four children.
As Congressman from the 22nd District, I will start each day remembering that our district is full of people like you, who strive for that American Dream and who want it preserved for future generations.
